Leather and Tears [LevixEren modern AU] Prologue

Eren Jaeger, at his seventeenth birthday, ran away from home.
Why? Because he had a dream, one no one thought he could achieve, or he was suited for.
What was it, you ask?
Simple.
Eren wanted to become a model. However, that was something that people of his German hometown saw as foolish.
That was only two months ago. He finally found his way to the City of Light, Paris.  He had to keep two jobs at once, at a morning cafe and at a cabaret during night, as a waiter again. He was kind of jealous of those who worked as singers and dancers there, and he wouldn't mind if he was there, on stage, for just one night.
And one evening, as a roll on the wheel of fortune, his boss, a kind woman with the name Petra Ral, informed him that he was going to serve a certain customer, and close friend of hers.
''He might help you with your dream too, Eren.'' she said. ''If you manage to get on his good side, that is, which is hard. But I have trust in your abilities, Eren. You are good at handling people.''
Eren blushed at the copliment. ''How can he help me?'' he wondered out loud.
Petra laughed. ''He works for Rivalle.''
Eren lost his ability to speak for the next two minutes. ''Rivalle? Like, the designer?''
She nodded. ''To be more precise, he's the right hand man.''
''How can I get to his good side?''
''Be calm, accept any insults he makes to anyone, or even you, and most things should work out fine.'' she adviced.
''His looks?'' he wondered.
''Short black hair, grey eyes. He's kind of intimidating. Don't tease him about his height, his temper is just as tall.'' she joked. After thinking for a few moments, she added ''Don't tell him I said that.''
Eren sighed. He was going to have a hard time with him, apparently. ''And, what's this man called?''
Petra smiled, a sincere and carefree smile. ''Levi.''
